I had to deal with some significant install limitations for my front speakers in the room where I put these BA's. I had to put them 8 ft. off the floor and they could be no bigger than this model. Plus, the room is large and acoustically challenged. Lastly, I did not want to hang a black speaker on a light colored wall.
I've installed these with a Yamaha center and a Velodyne sub. The fidelity is a little better than I expected. These do not have a "big" sound, but I am very please that I'm getting as much low end sound from them as I am. Before I hung them, I played them for a while on the floor. They performed very well. No doubt I could have gotten somewhat better sound from a much more expensive speaker - the next choice up was more than twice the money. But these are solid. If, like me, you have to hang these high, be sure to orient the woofer toward the ceiling as the instructions recommend. The hardware that come with the unit is good quality and would seem to cover all install needs.
