This is my second Boston Acoustic product. I pre-ordered this Duo-I-Plus because of the iPhone function. My friend has a BOSE and he even thinks the sound is better than his. Just can not say enough about this product..

I bought this for my teenage daughter, she wanted an iPod speaker system with alarm clock. At first we looked at the i-Home, but then I saw this. Knowing Boston made great sounding equipment I decided to give it a try. The moment we turned this on my immediate impression was WOW!!! This sounds really good!! Controls and settings are easy to use and it comes with a small remote control. The remote has a handy magnet on the back which allows you to stick it to the front speaker grill or as my daughter does, to a metal lamp near her bed so it does not get misplaced. The unit comes with a bunch of adapters for many versions of iPods.

I own a Bose ipod dock. This product sounds better at less the price! I would highly recommend it.

This is our second Duo-i Plus. We returned the first one because the alarm didn't function correctly (second alarm wouldn't sound unless it was on tone). The second unit had the same flaw, but instead of returning it we decided to contact Boston Acoustics and seek their help.
They paid to have the unit shipped to them where an engineer changed out the firmware and shipped it back to us all during the holidays.
While all this was happening, the customer service representative was always available and quickly provided updates when asked.
Now it works as it is supposed to and we have the added assurance of knowing that Boston Acoustics is a company that stands behind their products.

This unit, in my opinion, was smaller than I expected. Which for me is a plus. Overall the construction is solid, the controls simple, and the sound is impressive. The ported speaker design really delivers a throaty bass response. I had a piece of paper behind the unit when I first cranked it up and it literally blew the paper away! It manages to deliver the bass while maintaining a fairly natural balanced sound. I would definitely recommend this unit over the comparable Bose product.
