I wasn't sure these would be strong enough to support the Def. Tech. Pro Monitor 800 speakers I bought because I used the mounting holes on the bottom of the speakers so they go straight out from the wall. That way I could angle them down to the couch under them. I tightened the ball joint coupler with a little help form a slip-loc pliers and they haven't moved a bit. Make sure you can screw into a stud in the wall though.

Sturdy and easy to wall mount. They look awesome with the white speakers we bought (much better than the standard black ones that Best Buy offers). The speakers were very easy to tilt/position and lock into place.

These wall mounts are well made, good quality. I was concerned that the ball swivel would not reliably hold the speaker upright, but it worked fine. I still think they are a bit pricey, but considering it's a one-time investment, I think it was worth it.

Do not get me wrong, the speaker mounts were not too hard to install, easy to adjust and work just fine; however I do not see why anyone should have to pay such a hefty price for these mounts. Worst of all, they are the only mounts that I could find that fit my speakers. We tried several other universal mounts with no success. I wish I was pre-warned about the price of the mounts prior to purchasing the speakers, for I might have re-thought the purchase altogether.
