So in addition to 95 Watts x 7, HD component video switching, video upconversion, and typical second zone operation, once plugged into the wall it is ready to utilize your house wiring for digital second zone audio. DAvED (pronounced David) stands for Digital Audio via Electrical Distribution. It is a great new method for distributing multi-room audio. Simply connect the main unit into your home theater system, take the client unit wherever you wish, plug it in and you have second zone sound! Note: This product will distribute mult-room audio in conjunction with A/V products that can distribute DAvED technology. Additional Marantz ZC4001 Client Receiver Speakers may be purchased separately.
